The Chinese Crested is elegant, gay, alert, lively, and agile. It comes in two varieties: the hairless and the powerpuff. Both varieties will frequently appear in the same litter. The hairless variety is prone to skin irritations, allergies and sunburn, and precautions must be taken to prevent this. They are loving and playful companions and do well in families with gentle children.
